Welcome to WKND Group Inc.! These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of our website and mobile application ("WKND"), available on iOS and Android. By accessing or using WKND, you agree to these Terms. Please read them carefully.
1. User Responsibilities
Users of WKND must follow all applicable laws and refrain from illegal, abusive, or harmful behavior while using the app. You agree not to:Engage in fraudulent activities.Upload or share inappropriate, harmful, or offensive content.Impersonate others or misrepresent your identity.
2. User-Generated Content
Users may upload content such as photos or event details. By doing so, you grant WKND a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free right to use, display, and distribute your content within the app. However, you retain ownership of all content you submit.WKND reserves the right to remove any content that violates these Terms or is deemed inappropriate, without prior notice.
3. Payments, Subscriptions, and Refunds
Certain features of WKND are available through paid subscriptions or in-app purchases. Payments are non-refundable, except as required by law. If you choose to cancel your subscription, you will retain access to paid features until the end of your billing cycle.Free trials may be offered, with terms that specify when the trial converts into a paid plan.
4. Termination of Accounts
WKND reserves the right to suspend or terminate user accounts at its sole discretion if users violate these Terms or engage in prohibited behavior.
5. Limitation of Liability
WKND is provided on an "as is" basis, without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. WKND Group Inc. does not guarantee the availability, accuracy, or performance of the app at all times.WKND contains links to third-party websites or event listings. We are not responsible for the content, accuracy, or availability of these third-party services, nor do we have any responsibility for events found through the app. Users agree to indemnify WKND from any claims arising from participation in such events or reliance on information provided by third parties.
6. Dispute Resolution
In the event of any disputes between WKND and its users, you agree to resolve disputes through binding arbitration, governed by the laws of the United States. The jurisdiction will be within California.
7. Data Collection and Privacy
WKND collects user data only when necessary, such as during account creation or purchases. Users are notified when their personal data is collected, and by using the app, you consent to this data collection.Your personal data may be shared with third parties for analytics, targeted advertising, or other business purposes. You may opt-out of targeted advertising by updating your settings within the app.
