Terms of Service
WKND Terms of Service
Effective Date: August 28, 2025
Welcome to WKND! 🎉 We’re glad you’re here. WKND is a place for vendors to connect with eventgoers, and for eventgoers to discover new experiences. To keep things smooth, safe, and fun for everyone, we’ve put together these Terms of Service (“Terms”).
By using WKND (our website or mobile app), you’re agreeing to these Terms, plus our Privacy Policy. If you don’t agree, you’ll need to skip using WKND.
1. What We Expect from You
We want WKND to be a safe, positive space. That means you agree not to:
-
Break the law or encourage others to.
-
Post harmful, offensive, or misleading content.
-
Pretend to be someone else.
-
Abuse or misuse the app in any way.
2. Your Content
You own the photos, details, and other content you share on WKND. By posting it, you’re giving us permission (a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license) to use, display, and share it inside WKND to keep things running.
We may remove content that violates these Terms or doesn’t fit the WKND vibe.
3. Payments & Subscriptions
Some features cost money (subscriptions or in-app purchases). Here’s how it works:
-
Payments are final and non-refundable (unless the law says otherwise).
-
Cancel anytime—you’ll keep access until the end of your billing cycle.
-
Free trials may be offered; we’ll always tell you when a trial turns into a paid plan.
4. Ending Accounts
If someone breaks the rules, WKND may suspend or close accounts. We hope it never comes to that, but we reserve the right to do so.
5. Disclaimers & Limits
WKND is offered “as is.” We work hard to keep it up and running, but we can’t guarantee it’ll always be available, error-free, or perfect.
WKND also links to third-party events and websites. We don’t run those and aren’t responsible for their accuracy, safety, or availability. If you choose to participate in an event found through WKND, that’s entirely up to you.
By using WKND, you agree to indemnify (protect) WKND Group Inc. from claims that come from your participation in events, your posts, or your reliance on third-party info.
6. Disputes
If there’s ever a dispute, we’ll work to resolve it fairly. If needed, you agree to binding arbitration under U.S. law, with California as the jurisdiction.
7. Privacy & Data
We only collect personal data when needed—for example, to set up your account or process payments. By using WKND, you agree to our data practices outlined in our Privacy Policy.
Sometimes we share data with third parties for analytics or ads. You can control ad preferences in your settings.
8. Updates to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make significant changes, we’ll notify you through the app or by email. If you keep using WKND after the changes, that means you accept the new Terms.
👉 Thanks for being part of WKND! We’re here to help people discover and support local vendors, and we’re excited to have you with us.
